Intuitive & Inspiring Travel Search to Increase Conversion Rate
With the growing variety of travel options, Berge & Meer wanted to provide its customers with an even more intuitive, inspiring, and quick search experience. Instead of rigidly predefined filters, they should find the trip that suits their needs through freely formulated wishes. The aim was to create a solution that not only significantly improves user experience but also increases the conversion rate in digital sales.
An AI-based free-text search for personalized travel offers
Within a few weeks, a semantic free-text search based on the FoxBase AI Sales Support Platform was implemented in collaboration with FoxBase:
Users formulate their travel wishes in natural language (e.g. "Family holiday in October to the Mediterranean with beach and city trip").
Using language models (LLMs), the intentions and preferences of users are analyzed.
Suitable round trips, cruises, or combination offers are prioritized and displayed, including dynamic price and availability checking.
The solution was seamlessly integrated into the existing web CMS of Berge & Meer.
