How can we help?
Question tree: Create, edit, arrange the 1. question level
The first step is to create a new selector in the Digitizer. (You can also access and edit already existing Selectors.) Choose NEW SELECTOR and call it “Getting Started ColorSelector”.
After the Selector has been created, the levels of the question tree can be added. In the area Questionnaire choose NEW PAGEto add a new level to the question tree.(You can change the order afterward in the Questionnaire area.)
To ensure the customer of the Malfarben GmbH gets an appropriate product recommendation, we begin with very broad questions and then become more concrete.
Info: In the following the elements that can be seen by the Selector user directly will be referred to as "FRONTEND" The settings responsible for this are set in the "BACKEND" (in the Digitizer) .
Info: To give the Selector an individual look, you can make use of Icons. In order to have a black finger (like in our example) as the icon for each question level, you can copy the following link and paste it into the Icon url and Info Icon URL field. (Visualization in question level 1)
Question level 1: Choose your application area
First, the customer should choose the application area (Page Title: Page Title)
Link an icon (icon URL) that matches the topic and choose the appearance of the info icon (usually the same URL as the icon URL).
Use the following link:
Create Choices and Answer options. Usually, there is one choice and at least two answers are added.
You should select the type Cards.Cards are images with optional text. Cards are mostly used for images with a lot of text. Alternatively, you can use buttons with one-line text. Under Question Title you can ask the customer questions about the topic.
To add answer options, click + ADD ANSWER.
Decide the name of the response options (Card Title) and include an image (Image-URL).
The question about the application area is now the first question level.
We now create five more question levels.
You have learned how to create a question level. Question levels 2-6, including their questions and answer options, as well as the corresponding conditionals, will be explained in the next article .
